Andrew Brons MEP lectured on Politics and Government for many years at Harrogate College (Yorkshire), where he was extremely popular. His is the only name on an online list of ‘notable former members of staff’! This is his after-dinner speech at the 2009 BNP Gala Dinner. Andrew traces the rise of the BNP to the point, now, where the conspiracy of silence has been replaced by the de facto right to reply. He discusses BNP policies, and the linguistic challenge to establishment assumptions, re-emphasising nature in addition to nurture. ‘Culture’, Orwell, civic nationalists, and differences in ability (as well as five or six jokes) finish his entertaining speech.

Andrew Brons MEP is a clever and well informed man, I’m very glad my vote went to him in June 2009.
